Privacy Policy

SETZ collects information you provide, information created when you train, and limited technical data needed to run the app. Categories include workout and fitness data, profile and social data, device and app usage data, and optional photos you choose to upload.

SETZ is a fitness training app. It is not a medical device, is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease, and is not a substitute for professional medical advice, care, or emergency services. Workout logs and fitness metrics in SETZ are for personal training use only. Do not rely on SETZ for health decisions. Talk to a qualified clinician if you have a medical question or before starting a new exercise program.

If you log training in SETZ, we may store workout history, exercise names, sets, reps, weights, duration, rest times, notes, and related fitness metrics you enter or that the app calculates from those entries. This is training history, not medical or clinical data.

If you connect Apple Health or another Apple fitness source and grant permission, SETZ may read or write activity data that Apple makes available under that permission. You can turn that access off in iOS settings. We use this data to show your training in the app, keep your history in sync, and improve workout features.

When you create an account, we may collect your name, username, email address, password or sign-in credentials, and profile details you add (for example bio, location, or gym). If SETZ includes social features, we may also store follows, connections, comments, or other content you post in the app.

If you sign in with Apple, Apple provides an identifier and, if you choose to share it, an email address. We use that information to create and authenticate your SETZ account.

We may collect device type, operating system, app version, language, approximate region, crash reports, performance diagnostics, and how you use screens and features in SETZ. This helps us fix bugs, keep the app stable, and understand which features need work.

Support requests you send (including through nd-builds.com/setz/support) include the name, email, and message you submit, and any optional phone number or SETZ account identifier you provide.

Photos are optional. If you upload a profile picture, progress photo, or other image, we store that file so it can appear in your account. Do not upload images of other people unless you have the right to do so. You can replace or remove photos you uploaded, subject to backup copies that may persist for a short time after deletion.

We use SETZ data to:

• Create and secure your account, and sign you in
• Save and display workouts, profile, and social content
• Sync data across your devices
• Provide customer support and reply by email
• Maintain security, prevent abuse, and debug the app
• Meet legal or App Store requirements when required

SETZ does not sell personal data. SETZ does not collect information for advertisers, data brokers, or other third parties, and SETZ does not allow third parties to collect data through the app.

Hosting and platform services that run the product (so your account can exist at all) are limited to:

• Supabase: authentication, database, and file storage for accounts, workouts, profile content, and uploaded photos, only as needed to operate SETZ.
• Apple: Sign in with Apple, App Store distribution, in-app purchases if offered, and Apple Health or related APIs if you grant access. Apple processes that data under Apple's own policies. SETZ does not grant Apple, or anyone else, a right to collect SETZ user data for their own marketing.

These providers may only process what is required to provide their service to SETZ. They are not authorized to collect SETZ data for their own purposes or to sell it.

You can request deletion of your SETZ account and associated personal data at any time. Email noguerasdesigns@gmail.com from the address on the account, or use the SETZ support form and choose a topic that describes an account request.

After we verify the request, we delete or de-identify account data that is not required to keep for security, fraud prevention, or law. Some backups and logs may remain for a limited period until they rotate out.

We keep account, workout, profile, and photo data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward if you stop using SETZ without deleting the account. Support messages are kept as needed to handle your request and maintain records.

When you delete your account, we remove personal data from active systems as described above.

We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit, access controls, and hosted infrastructure (including Supabase) configured to limit who can read SETZ data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Please use a strong unique password and keep your device updated.

SETZ is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy. The effective date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of SETZ after an update means you accept the revised policy.
